Funeral Bond – Asset Exemption Limit for 2024-2025 Financial Year

The Funeral Bond Allowable Limit is used to determine the maximum amount that can be invested in a funeral bond that will be considered an exempt asset as part of the assets test used by Services Australia.

The funeral bond limit for the 2024-25 financial year has increased to $15,500. The Department of Social Services review this limit on 1 July each year.
